AC Marquette welders seemed to be pretty common in service shops/garages in the late 50s and 60s in southwestern PA as I remember. I think Lincoln bought them out around 2005 or so. I also think I remember Marquette and McKay rods; There must have been some jobber working the auto repair shops and selling the welders.
